DESCRIPTION
This e-learning course on Display Screen Equipment (DSE) is designed to provide employees with the knowledge and skills they need to safely and effectively use DSE in the workplace. The course covers the legal requirements and regulations related to DSE use and the potential risks associated with unsafe or prolonged DSE use.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course the learner will be able to:
- Understand the legal requirements and regulations related to Display Screen Equipment (DSE) use and be able to identify and comply with them
- Recognise the potential risks associated with prolonged DSE use and be able to take preventive measures to reduce these risks
- Learn how to set up and adjust the DSE workstation correctly in order to maintain proper posture and reduce the risk of injury
- Be able to conduct a self-assessment of the DSE workstation, identify any potential issues and know the process for reporting any concerns related to DSE use
